And with that Heckmondwike result, all 10 of our wards in North Kirklees have been decided. Steve Hall joins Shabir Pandor, Jackie Ramsay and Mussarat Pervaiz from Labour in losing their seat.

Elsewhere, the former leader of Kirklees Council, Shabir Pandor (Labour and Co-operative Party), has lost his seat in Batley West. Zahid Kahut (Independent) has been elected there. Jackie Ramsay (Labour and Co-operative Party) has not regained Dewsbury South - Hanifa Darwan (Independent) has been elected in that ward. And Mussarat Shaheen Pervaiz (Labour Party) has lost the Dewsbury West seat - Tanisha Bramwell (Independent) has been elected there.
