Stuck baby cow rescued by Cleckheaton firefighters

A fire crew turned out to help rescue a calf which managed to become stuck underground in a field.

A specialist technical rescue team from Cleckheaton and a technical rescue officer were called to the incident, and reunited the animal with its mother just before 3.30pm on Saturday.

The incident took place in West Lane, Askwith, near Otley.
